4th Real-Time PCR Workshop
3-days Hands-on Training on RNA Isolation, cDNA Synthesis & Real-Time PCR
Department of Biochemistry organized 4th Real Time PCR Workshop from August 28-30, 2023. PhD, MPhil, and BS students from University of Azad & Jammu Kashmir Muzaffarabad, Hazara University Mansehra, International Islamic University Islamabad, Quaid i Azam University Islamabad, Islamia University Bahawalpur, and Bahauddin Zikriya University Multan participated in this 3-days training.
Medical professionals from Department of Health KPK, and Averroes Laboratories Islamabad attended the workshop as participants while Med Lab Services Rawalpindi and Molecular Biology Products Karachi sponsored the 3-days training on Real Time PCR.
The participants of this workshop gained theoretical knowledge and hands-on-experience for RNA isolation, cDNA Synthesis and qPCR assay design & data analysis.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ansar and Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Alam led the trainers (PhD students from Department of Biochemistry) & Volunteers (Biochemists Association of QAU Islamabad) in organizing this workshop. Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza distributed certificates among all participants as Chief Guest of the closing ceremony.
